Regular Cleaning
Orient Quartz Stone surfaces are maintenance-free, they can be cleaned effortlessly. To maintain its appearance, wipe it with a damp rag or paper towel and follow up with a mild soap or non-acidic liquid. After cleaning, rinse and dry it thoroughly.
Honed surfaces are more prone surface than polished surfaces. They may need special care during regular cleaning since the varying levels of smoothness can affect their appearance.
Stain Resistance
Due to their non-porous nature, Orient Quartz Stone countertops are incredibly resilient against dirt and stains.
To prevent dirt sticking to Quartz surfaces, we recommended to avoid using food or gum for an extended period. To get rid of dried or stubborn spills, use a non-abrasive cleaning pad and a mild soap.
Scratch resistance
Orient Quartz Stone surfaces are made with 93% quartz, this is why they are incredibly hard to chip or scratch. Although quartz is scratch resistant you should avoid using sharp objects, such as screwdrivers and knives on the surface. A cutting board is also recommended.
Heat resistance
Quartz is high heat resistant material, still we recommended to avoid direct contact of hot pans or skillets with surface. To maintain its natural beauty, use trivets or insulators.
Hygiene
The non-porous texture of the Orient Quartz Stone prevents mould and bacteria from developing. It also allows food to be handled directly.
You should also avoid using products that contain bleach, ink, or nail polish remover. Orient Quartz Stone surfaces should not be cleaned using strong alkaline or abrasive cleansers. Follow the manufacturer’s recommendations and dilution instructions.
After meeting any of the listed substances, Orient Quartz Stone should be thoroughly rinsed with clean water.
